Eagle Records are delighted to announce the release of the “Pictures: Live At Montreux 2009” album [Cat No. EAGCD466] from Status Quo on 22 August 2011. This release is part of a batch of high profile Montreux audio releases for summer 2011. “Pictures: Live At Montreux 2009” features many of their classic songs including the UK Top 10 hits: “Pictures Of Matchstick Men”, “Ice In The Sun”, “Caroline”, “Down Down”, “Rain”, “Rockin’ All Over The World”, “Whatever You Want”, “The Wanderer” and many other great tracks.
In July 2009, Status Quo’s hugely successful “Pictures” tour rolled into Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva. With the temperature inside the auditorium soaring it was a hot and memorable night for band and fans alike. This is the first time the concert has been released as a stand alone CD having only previously been available in the Deluxe Edition of the DVD release.
