Eric Clapton will be releasing his new studio album titled ‘Clapton’ on 27 September 2010 in the Uk and 28 September in the US. Originally the new album was to be a double tentatively called ‘Whiplash’. It was going to be a mixture of covers and new songs. It has now been culled to a single set with the possibility of volume 2 being released next year.
Eric has performed some of these covers over the last few tours when he would perform them in the acoustic segment of the show.
