Wow, this is amazing! I am so happy that Breakfast in America is being reissued. This is one of my all time favorite albums. In April I had the great fortune of seeing Supertramp’s co-founder, Roger Hodgson, in concert. Simply out of this world. I didn’t want the show to end. He is currently on his hugely successful worldwide tour and will NOT be touring with Supertramp on their European tour, contrary to reports otherwise.
It is Roger who gave us three of the four hits from the BIA LP. He solely wrote and composed the title track, Breakfast in America, as well as The Logical Song, and Take the Long Way Home. Roger performs each of these songs in concert as well as many of his other classics such as Dreamer, Hide in Your Shell, Fool’s Overture, Give a Little Bit, School, It’s Raining Again, and so many more. It was also incredible to see Roger perform several spectacular songs from his solo albums.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see Roger Hodgson, the heartbeat of Supertramp, in concert. I honestly believe he sounds even better today than he did 30 years ago, if that’s possible. All tour details can be found on his website at http://www.RogerHodgson.com.
